There's Always a First Time

And this cold and overcast Saturday morning we decided to finally take them to their FIRST movie! Of course we have seen movies (on DVDs at home), but not in a real movie theatre. And I'm not quite sure if this one counts as we went to the IMAX to see Dinosaurs in 3D... how will we be able to bring them to a "regular" movie and have the same excitment after seeing their favorite creatures in 3D on that humongous IMAX screen??? Oh well, we'll deal with that when the time comes. Anyways.... the boys loved it, Blake was a much better sport than I had expected. According to Coby, some scenes were too scary so I would glance over at him and he had his eyes closed shut and ears plugged with his fingers. On the other side of me, Blake was watching the movie amazed. Too funny, but they loved it!

Carnival Time

I took the boys to my old school where I went for 7th and 8th grade to the Italian Festival. It has been around for 25 years and I thought it would be neat to take them there. Needless to say they had a BLAST and I think I did too! They went on rides, played games, ran into friends and ate ice cream.

Waiting in line for our first ride
The Flying Dragons
Transformer Rocketship Ride
(at least that's what Coby told me it was)

Coby won a goldfish!
Speedy is with us and his brother Hurricane for a week now!
Blake's turn to try a game... and he won!

New House...

... and hopefully our last for a looooooong time! We love the big yard and can't wait for the boys to play in it!

Sold!
Isn't it a dream kitchen???
j/k, we bought it all in one piece, but Victor was there the next day and tore it all up.
It will be a dream kitchen soon!
Even Coby helps out, showing off his wooden airplane he made
And Blake is at home waiting anxiously for Daddy to come home
so he can serve him a well needed cold one.
Yes, the house is a fixer-upper and we hope to be in by the end of the month. We'll keep you posted on it's coming alongs and our where-abouts!

Buddy Breakfast

Coby's preschool had a Buddy Breakfast at school the other morning and so Coby invited Grandpa to the special event. Grandpa enjoyed coffee and donuts while getting a personal tour of his classroom by none other than Coby himself.

Happy Valentines Day!

To celebrate Valentine's Day I made some chocolate fondue and lets just say that Coby was in heaven!!! Sorry, no Blake in the pictures, he was already asleep in bed.

Stripes!

Here is a quick video of Coby receiving his yellow stripe in karate tonight. He is so prud of himself, he can't wait until his next class!

Sorry, I missed the actual test, but he tests for his yellow belt in 2 weeks, so I'll be sure to get that on video!
