Big Blake

The high chair wasn't really working out for Blake. He's a squealer and wants to be where everyone else is. I guess being 4 inches away from the table was too much for him. So here is a picture of him the first time eating his breakfast at the table in his booster seat. Now he just likes to yank the goofy looking table cloth off!

The real Coby

I just love this picture of Coby.

Scary Monsters!

Yes, the boys like to play with my dishwashing gloves. Blake walks around wearing them saying "argh!!!" I guess he's trying to spook me!

ARGH!
Monkey See Monkey Do

Heading home

Blake happy to have his pacifier
(he is only allowed it in the crib for sleeping,
but Victor thought this was fine to keep him quiet)
Coby taking a nap with his beloved coconut we found for show & tell

Yummmmm... Primanti Brothers!

By far the BEST place on the Ft Lauderdale Beach! They are open 24 hours and is right across the street from the beach. Maybe it's the smell of the ocean lurking in our food, but wow, this place is the BEST!

Victor's Pastrami sandwich
Victor about to dive into it!

Our first visit with Santa!

Blake would rather eat his goldfish and play with the "Ha Ha"
Blake cried and Coby couldn't wait to tell him everything

One is still crying and the other is still waiting
Finally, my turn!

Park it!

Blake just loves the swing (notice the nice bump on his forehead?)
Push me higher!!!
I'm King of the Park!

Another rough day fishing...

Here's a few shots of Coby about to "chop up" the fish he just caught while out on the boat with Daddy & Miles all day. He was so exhausted!

Blake came outside to check things out

My soon-to-be Amazing Village!

I am a new collector of Lemax villages. I always told Victor I wanted to get one piece every year so we can build it to be amazing. Well, I just started last year and of course to start I needed more than just one ;) So I have 11 pieces now (thanks to my parent's neighbors, the Hanke's, who just gave me 3 of their pieces) and can't wait to see it grow to be like theirs. They have hundreds... literally. I hope to see it this year and when I do I will take a picture and post their incredible village. In the meantime, take a look at my start... Coby thinks it's the bomb.

Choo-Chooooooo!!!

With Christmas approaching, it's time to get out the train!!! All day Thursday & Friday was dedicated to the train sets. Being we have little Blakey toddling around to destruct things we have it placed in the garage. It really came out great this year and the boys just LOVE it. Victor even elevated another track on top so the two trains can work at the same time! At night the lights all go on and you hear the whistles and smoke... very cool. I'll have to post some video, too.

The finished product! (well, for now, of course!)

It's SNOWING in Florida!!!

OK, so it might not be snow... just some frost. But Coby thinks it was snow! On Thursday, when I opened the blinds in his room I saw the frost was still on the grass, so I yelled for him to come see and he got ecstatic! Of course he asked, "when can I go outside and make a snowman?" He ran outside with his camera to take pictures of the "snow". Take a look...

see the patches of frost on the grass?
Here he is snapping photos
it's quickly melting away, but he's still out there!

Gardening with Daddy

When I can't find Victor around the house I am sure to find him digging something up outside, and sure enough I did. On Tuesday, he got bored and decided to move these elephant ear palm trees to a new location. Why? I have no idea. It's what he enjoys... take a look at the boy helping with their shovels. (Yes, it was muddy and they got baths ASAP)

Everyone digging...Coby all the way to the left
Looks like Blake found something

WHAT!?!?! What the heck is he eating now??? Gotta go!

Yes, they eat their veggies...

My kids LOVE artichokes! When we are in the grocery store Coby will see an artichoke and BEG me to get some. How could I say no to that? And now Blake has enjoyed his first one and he's hooked, too. Maybe it's the way you eat them? I don't know, but I won't complain!
Blake's chowing down as Coby's hand is on the right
By the look of Coby's face you would think he is saying eeew, but really he's eating it!

3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!!!

We just watched the space ship blast off into outer space from our back yard. I told Coby we'd be able to watch it before he goes to bed tonight... so we were all bathed and ready for the show. The picture does no justice of what you really see from our backyard. It was amazing orange lights at the bottom of the entire sky and then a huge orange lines drawing up into the night. The night time launches are beautiful.
Anxiously waiting...
I promise, that spec at the 7 o'clock of the moon is the shuttle!

Trike-A-Thon

Coby's preschool holds a Trike-A-Thon every year to raise money for an ill/sick child. And the kids all get to ride for a cause. Here are some of the pictures I took this morning as I was there to help out and volunteer. Yes, I almost got run over a few times, but we all made it. Just a few bruises and minor accidents.
All of the kids lined up and ready to ride! (Coby is all the way on the left)
Oh Yeah! It's finally his turn! Getting ready to show his tricks!
Ride!

The turns were tricky

Weekend Getaway

Here's some pictures of our recent family getaway to Treasure Island, FL (just north of St Petersburg). It was a beautiful beach and we couldn't of had better weather! Absolutely gorgeous!

Me too! Gotta have my Corona Light!
