It's a Bird???

No, it's a plane... even better... IT'S DADDY'S AIRPLANE!!!!!!!!!!!! Victor was flying out of Fort Meyers today and said he would be flying right over our house and to look for him between 12:30 and 12:45 pm. So we decided to eat lunch outside and just as we got settled sure enough a HUGE airplane came flying slowly overhead! The kids were excited, but I think I was even more so. It was so cool! Now, mind you, we do not live in an area where you see airplanes every 10 minutes. So when you see one you get excited, especially when the pilot is Victor! (Click on the pictures to get a bigger view)

Here he comes!!! In the center of the sky!

Bye, Bye, Daddy! See you tomorrow!!!
Heading into the sunlight... have a safe flight!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Coby checking out all of his Valentine's he got at school today. I was afraid it was going to be a bag of junk, but luckily it was a more traditional Valentine assortment!

A morning well spent

So after we dropped Coby off at school today, Victor & I decided it was way too nice of a day to be spent inside. So we took the boat out with little Blake (shhh!!! don't tell Coby!) We had a great time and I think Blake enjoyed having us all to himself while doing something fun. We docked up to an island here in the Tampa Bay and basically had it all to ourselves. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was spectacular! I finally got some sun!!!

Tree House!!!!!!!!

I don't know who was more excited to get a tree house, the kids or Victor. Victor had been planning on building a play structure of some sort for the boys for quite some time. My amazing handyman husband decided to build it from scratch and enjoyed every single minute of it. I can't believe his little doodles he would show me on scrap paper actually came out exactly as he imagined! Below are some pictures I was able to get as the project progressed this week. Of course, he still has some finishing touches to do to it, but I was told to please post them ASAP. =) Here you go......

Coby ecstatic with the "balcony" he is getting with a view
Blake saying hi
Half way there
The boys all excited
It's getting there! Victor still working on it
There's something about power tools

Thanks, Daddy!!!!!

Hiding Out

Blake must've been hiding from Coby one day, so he decided the laundry bin was the best place. Here he is exiting the bin (of course the show was over once I grabbed the camera to get a picture of him IN the bin!

My Run In with MARTHA!!!

OK, so most of you know I am pretty big on the whole celeb thing. I get star struck and am one of those followers. I subscribe to US Weekly, watch Entertainment Tonight and Extra nightly, love the E! network, etc. So being that the Super Bowl is here in Tampa I said I was going to go celeb hunting this weekend. As I was perusing the newpaper yesterday I saw that my friend, Martha Stewart, is coming to town! She was having a cookbook signing at the Macy's in Clearwater. Nobody seemed interested to join me so I decided to be brave and take the boys... alone!!! yikes! (By the way, I am a huge fan of Martha, I love her show, love her Everyday Food magazine, etc.) It started at 3:00 so as soon as Blake woke up from his nap I loaded him in the car (which I already packed while he was asleep) and told Coby we were going to see Ms. Martha, let's go. Clearwater is about a 45 minutes drive from my house, unfortunately with all of the Super Bowl hoopla in town, there was a ton of traffic! Needless to say it took an hour and 20 minutes... I was praying she was still there! I was practically running through the parking lot and finally stumbled upon her in housewares! It was awesome!!! I scooted Blake's stroller in and out of the crowd and housewares department bumped into everything in site and went to get in line. Ummm... the line was wrapped around the entire store! I heard the wait was 2 hours! I was so not going to make these boys wait in line with me for 2 hours just to get a 1/2 minute with my friend. So we watched her. So when I noticed the line was moving rather quickly, I decided to go for it. The line was only half way around the store now. It can't be that bad, right? Well, they sold out of the books and the line had reached it's limit. (Am I rambling on, or what?) To get to the point, we walked the mall and went to leave. I noticed a black Escalade with a driver waiting at the side door of Macy's. Just 4 people waiting out there with their cameras. I of course joined them and thankfully was able to catch her heading out the back door! So exciting!!! I wonder if she's going to talk about me on her show Monday, you know, the lady with the crazy kids??? =)

Martha!

Only I would stand in front of her getaway car for a pic!
Didn't I tell you I was a paparrazzi?

Me & My Boys...

On Sunday, with Victor out on the road, I decided to take the boys back to Busch Gardens. I said I was only going to go for a couple of hours in the morning, but we were having such a good time we stayed until 4 o'clock. It was so nice because it was not crowded at all and the weather was perfect so we were able to do so much at our own pace. We spent alot of the time checking out all of the amazing animals they have there. Take a look...
